About Us

Schneider Prototyping Head Office and Production Plant in Bad Kreuznach, Germany
Prototypes and small batch series in plastics and metal

Schneider Prototyping was founded in 1991 and is therefore one of the oldest German prototype producers and a market leader in the rapid prototyping industry. With about 90 employees at the Headquarter in Bad Kreuznach, Germany, we are a strong and quality conscious business.

We mainly support development divisions, offering them a production that can manufacture complex models and prototypes in a large variety of plastics and metals on the basis of CAD-data.

During product development, long before the start of production, prototypes are used to qualify the design and functionality and allow the customer the freedom of testing the finished product before mass-producing it.

Our strength lies in our ability to advise our customers competently in all aspects of the development of their project. Our years of experience as a rapid prototyping manufacturer guarantees a punctual, high-quality and goal oriented product development.

Schneider Prototyping is growing: In order to be able to offer our customers attractive prices, the international relationships were further expanded in 2009.
To ensure on-site presence, we founded a distribution and production branch in China.
Moreover, in April 2009, we took over the prototype manufacturer Martello which is located in the South English seaside city of Poole and has an England-wide reputation, and integrated it in the Schneider group.

A cooperation agreement was signed with Hungarian prototyper KEC Engineering on 1st January 2010 with the aim of enabling us to cover the Hungarian market. We also plan to build our own prototype manufacturing facility focusing on plastics in the Hungarian town of Miskolc.

Modellbau Anton Altmann, a prototype engineer well known in southern Germany in particular, was taken over in January 2010. This means that Schneider Prototyping is now active at two locations in Germany in addition to its international branches in England, Hungary and China.

The use of regionally based staff enhances flexibility and quality and makes our motto “Your local partner in prototype construction – internationally on site” a reality.

Additional locations are planned for Germany, the Benelux countries, Sweden, Austria, Turkey, India, Israel and the USA.
